Every summer, we put down the tools, pause the calls, and swap site boots for something a little more relaxed. Our annual Celsius Hire Summer BBQ has become one of the most anticipated dates on the calendar – and 2025’s was no exception.
What a difference a year makes. Our team has grown yet again, with new faces joining across different departments. And the best part? Every single one has fitted in seamlessly, bringing fresh expertise, energy, and a can-do attitude. We’re proud to say it’s a group that works hard, supports each other and knows how to enjoy a good laugh together.
Burgers, Banter and a Bit of Friendly Competition
Jake and Chris returned as our resident grill masters, manning the BBQ with their usual skill. The smell of sizzling food was enough to get everyone gathered around, plates in hand, ready for seconds.
Once fuelled up, we took to the yard for some friendly competition – a putting challenge in our signature Celsius green and a bit of football for those who still had the energy. A few spectacular goals were scored… and a few less-than-graceful misses provided plenty of entertainment.
More Than Just a Day Off
While we’re always busy supporting hire requests, this day is about pressing pause. Phones go quiet, jobs are put on hold – though we’re still ready to respond to any urgent or emergency site needs. It’s a rare chance to slow down and properly connect with colleagues, especially those we don’t get to work with day-to-day.
We see this as more than a team perk – it’s part of what makes Celsius Hire a standout place to work. These moments together strengthen the trust and camaraderie that carry us through our busiest periods.

As the sun set on another fantastic BBQ, the feeling was unanimous – it had been a brilliant day of good food, great company, and plenty of laughs. We headed home recharged, ready to take on the rest of the summer season!
