300KW Micro Boiler Hire – Emergency Hotel Solution
The Challenge
One of our partners came to us needing an urgent solution for a boiler breakdown in a hotel in central London. Two of the three water cylinders had failed in their existing system; leading the property being without hot water throughout the hotel. Causing issue for the hotel guests who were unable to have hot water supply to the rooms.
An urgent domestic hot water (DHW) solution was required! Approaching the most busy period of the year in the tourism industry and with the hotel completely booked, we knew we had to act quickly to get a solution in place and the hot water back up and running.
The Solution
Fortunately, boiler breakdowns are something that we assist with often. Within 24 hours of the initial enquiry, we had our engineer on site conducting a free site survey to ascertain the best solution but also one that we can turn around quickly.
The hotel, being in central London has minimal spare space; as well as little room for manoeuvring. Our 300KW micro boiler is the absolute ideal unit for low footprint areas. We sourced a secluded area within the car park which we could set our micro gas boiler. The location was perfect albeit requiring longer than usual gas pipe run; but this wasn’t an issue for our engineers. We were able to run over 50m worth of gas pipe, before seamlessly connecting with the existing pipework.
Within hours, the temporary system was fully commissioned and delivering consistent hot water throughout the hotel.

Our 300kW micro boiler is brilliant for this type of application, powerful yet small. When paired with a plate heat exchanger and our 35L expansion vessel this combination was able to provide and restore hot water to all areas of the hotel. Our experienced engineers worked efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to daily hotel activities. The 300kW micro gas boiler allowed for rapid integration with the existing infrastructure, while the plate heat exchanger provided instantaneous hot water supply to meet peak guest demand.
