The Challenge
A large UK care home was hit with an unexpected heating emergency after being let down at the last minute by their usual boiler hire provider. With vulnerable residents on site and temperatures falling, there was no room for delay. Loss of heating posed a genuine risk to resident safety.
The care home urgently required a temporary boiler solution to cover the outage while repairs were carried out on the permanent system. The requirement was clear: a small foot print but enough output to provide heating and hot water to the home… delivered, installed, and fully commissioned as quickly as possible.
The Solution
Celsius Hire responded immediately. Following the initial enquiry, a suitable boiler hire package was identified and mobilised without delay. Our 150kW Micro Gas Boiler, along with all required ancillary equipment, was dispatched to site within hours.
To ensure speed of delivery, one of Celsius Hire’s engineers travelled directly from another live job to attend site the same evening. The boiler was positioned and connected into the care home’s existing pipework using approved gas and camlock hoses, allowing seamless integration with the heating system.
